Final Paper Format in health care ethics (philo 133)
1. Patients Profile
- This includes the name of the patient (use aliases), age and medical problem.
2. Hospital Profile
- This includes the name of the hospital, hospital personnel that were involved (aliases of doctors, nurses, student nurses, etc…)
3. Medical Ethical Problem
- Presentation of the medical ethical case, in other words what happened, what were the circumstances that led to the problem, what particular ethical dilemma or problem was revealed.
- Evaluate the case using:
o One (1) Ethical Theory, whether it is ethical or unethical. This should include your own insights as to what makes the problem ethical by using the ethical theories that were discussed in class that would uncover the rightness or wrongness of the particular situation or action.
o Identify three (3) bioethical principles that were either applied or violated.
5. Paper Format and Presentation
- Please prepare a short Power Point presentation about your ethical case study to be presented during the online class.
- Please upload the Final Paper and the Power point Presentation in PDF format to your shared Google folder.
6. Deadline is on September 21, 2020 during class time.
